The 2017 Frozen Harbor Music Festival brought together some of the best local, regional and national acts to start off the music festival season here in the Baltimore and DC metro area. Headlining the festival were Dru Hill, Onyx, and Pasadena. 140 acts performed on 9 stages all throughout the Power Plant Live entertainment complex. I have to say, a majority of the acts I was hearing live for the first time. However, there was not one performance that I didn’t enjoy. The artist that really caught my ear live for the first time were Rheet Repko, Icon Tha God, breakfast., Siravo, Skarr Akbar, and The Never Ending Fall. Festival goers didn’t have to deal with the normal cold February temperatures at all throughout the weekend. It was seasonably warm. You couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to go to a music festival. Especially during this time of year.
