The 5th annual National Cannabis Festival will be held on the lawn at the RFK Festival Grounds in Washington, DC. It is definitely the most unique music festival happening in the DMV this year.
Headlining this years festival will be Method Man & Redman. Also on the bill are Young M.A., Backyard Band, Antibalas, The Archives and more to be announced.
The Scene
Beyond the music on stage, the festival has a number of other “experiences” planned around the festival grounds.
The Exhibitor Fair is described as one of the festivals main attractions. The fair will include demos, swag, grower’s gear, art, fashion, wellness products, and more from 100+ participating exhibitors.
This being a cannabis festival, you know there has to be plenty of food. The Munchies Zone (mmm hmm) is where you will be able to find food from various vendors including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free chooses. This is also where a full beverage area with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options will be located.
Aspiring canna-business owners can apply to compete in CannaTank. The deadline to apply is March 8, 2020. The winner of CannaTank will receive $1,000 in start-up assistance, strategy sessions with industry experts, and other incentives.
The Veterans Lounge hosted by IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) will be a place where veterans can get away from the festival activities and a place where they can can connect over shared experiences. Veterans can also apply to receive two free tickets to the festival.
