Frozen Harbor Music Festival 2018 once again brought together some of the best local, regional and national acts to start off the music festival season here in the Baltimore and DC metro area.
Headlined by George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic and Keller Williams, 100+ acts performed on 10 stages all throughout the Power Plant Live entertainment complex. This is the second year in a row that Frozen Harbor has made me a bigger fan and a first time fan of artists that I have never seen perform live. This year, I was exposed to Deetranada for the first time and was impressed and became a bigger fan of Tate Kobang. His flow, breath control, and enunciation were way above average live than I expected. Especially for a young MC. Black Thought is my favorite MC so I can be hard on rappers because Thought is one of the best to do it. Tate Kobang was impressive.
A band that caught my attention last year and did so again this year was Never Ending Fall. The bass player is amazing and he really sets the groove. If you see them scheduled to play in your area definitely go check them out.
Enough of the words, you are here for the photos. Because of the stormy weather, I couldn’t make it to day 2 of the festival to capture photo highlights.
