It’s rare to find a major music festival taking place on Labor Day weekend. This year, Appalossa Festival is trying to fill that void. Appalossa Festival is a Root’s Music festival hosted by and in the home town of the band Scythian. The camper friendly and kid friendly festival will take place in Front Royal, VA.
In addition to Appalossa Festival, there are a couple of food festivals this weekend. DC VegFest will take place at Yard’s Park in SE Washington, DC and the Fish, Fowl, & Folk Festival will take place northeast of Baltimore in Harve De Grace, MD. Both festivals will take place this Saturday.
What ever you decide to do this weekend, be prepared. It’s supposed to rain most of the day this Saturday.
