Rockville, MD’s own, O.A.R. brought their Sounds of Summer Tour to Merriweather Post Pavilion on Thursday, August 1. Joining the band on their tour were special guest Allen Stone and Andrew McMahon.
The band, who were founded in 1996, treated their fans to a bright lights, energy filled, rock show with each member getting their time to shine throughout their set. The band performed songs from each of their seven albums including; Hey Girl; Shattered (Turn The Car Around); King of the Thing; and Heaven to name a few. The complete set list can be found below.

This was the second to last date on the bands 29 date summer tour. A special treat for those in attendance at Merriweather Post Paviliion was the complete O.A.R. horn section. Jon Lampley (trumpet) and Evan Oberla (trombone) do not tour with the band full time. However, Jerry DePizzo does and the three men also took the stage with Allen Stone at the end of his set.
