Kelly Rowland made a stop at Rams Head Live in support of her fourth studio album Talk A Good Game which is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. With Ms. Rowland on the co-headlined “Lights Out” tour was singer-songwriter and producer The Dream who recently released his fifth studio album titled IV Play.
Best known as one third of the group Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland has steadily made a name for herself as a solo artist since the group disbanded in 2004. Since that time, Rowland has released two albums, and is about to release a third, she has been the headliner on three major tours, and has stared in numerous films and made various television appearances. Recently, it was announced that Ms. Rowland has been selected to be a judge on The X Factor here in the United States.
This has all lead up to a lot of buzz for Rowland’s upcoming album Talk A Good Game. Rowland’s single “Kisses Down Low” has been placed into heavy rotation on urban radio and her latest single “Dirty Laundry” has everyone talking because of how open and honest she was about the domestic abuse she experienced and the jealousy she once had of Beyonce.
Rowland performed both songs during her concert at Rams Head Live. With an excellent band backing her, Rowland gave the fans a performance filled with energy, showmanship, and charm. She had the crowd singing along to various singles of her own, and classic songs from Destiny’s Child. I highly recommend going to see Kelly Rowland if she is scheduled to perform in a city near you.
