Yellowcard brought their killer rock show to a nearly sold-out 9:30 Club on Friday, January 11 in support of their latest album Southern Air. This is the same tour that brought them to Rams Head Live in Baltimore in November of 2012. It was great to get a chance to feature one of the best bands around on MetroMontage.com again.
The band has continued to produce new music and tour non-stop. Since last seeing them in November, the band has already extended a tour that was suppose to end in March to the end of 2013. If you have put off going to see the band live in concert, this is the year to do so because they will most likely be in a city near you.
In addition, Ryan Key hinted at a big announcement that is to come in the future. Many believe another album may already be in the works and may come as early as the fall of this year. Nothing has been confirmed so we are all just guessing for now.
Yellowcard is becoming one of my favorite bands to photograph. The energy and passion they bring to the stage is second to none. Sean Mackin really stands out during the bands performance. The energy and passion Sean exhibits during the show feeds the crowd and the crowd gives the energy right back to him. This may sound like a weird comparison, but imagine Ray Lewis in a punk band. That is Sean Mackin on stage.
Enough said, enjoy the photos!
