On Tuesday, August 15, Hot Chelle Rae brought their current tour to Baltimore’s Rams Head Live. The Nashville, Tennessee based group have been riding high the past couple of years off of the success of their most recent album Whatever. Their hit single “Tonight Tonight” has gone platinum twice over and their single “I Like It Like That”, featuring the New Boyz, has gone platinum. The group has toured with America’s sweetheart Taylor Swift, performed during Dick Clark’s New Years Eve with Ryan Seacrest, rocked out at the Pro Bowl opening ceremonies in Honolulu, Hawaii, opened with Lady Antebellum at the CMT Music Awards, performed on The Today Show, and now they are scheduled to embark on a world tour along with Demi Lovato.
The groups performance at Rams Head Live verified all of the hype that they have been receiving. With Ryan Follesé on lead vocals, his brother Jamie Follesé on drums, Nash Overstreet on guitar, and Ian Keaggy on bass, the group had the stage presence of a band that has been in the industry for years. They all played naturally off of one another while making the many screaming young ladies wanting to hear more. One of the key things to performing is looking like you are having a good time, and the group looked like they were having the time of their lives.
The group has definitely taken the lessons from those that have come before them and applied them. Each member of the band has a family member who has had a career of some kind in the music industry.
The band will continue to tour throughout the summer and into the fall. For more information about Hot Chelle Rae’s upcoming tour dates, click here.
Enough said. Enjoy the photos!
