Ahouach is a communal dance specific to the Berber Amazigh population of Morocco. The art form combines dance, poetry and songs unique to each tribe.
Ahouach/Hassani: Music of the City of Assa was part of the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage “Performing Arts for Everyone” initiative which provides a free performance everyday of the year at 6:00 p.m.
